The secret second name of this album is A Great Fear of Everything. It's a double album. two groups of 8 songs.

This is going to be the last stag hunt album for a while. she and I got tired of screaming into a void. I'm gonna switch gears and focus on other projects. Me and my friend Dylan have been working on an album for a while now. I've been making the tracks and she's covering the lyrics nad the vocals.

this album deals with some really heavy themes so go in accordingly. some songs take an utterly candid look at my relationship to suicide and the time in my life i have spent wanting to die (vv and pop were both written at a time, or just after, i was actively suicidal). it's funny i think i had written somewhere that I was done with bummer records. so much for that.
Other tracks are much more optimistic. Part of me want to say that this is a great record. hell this thing might suck. it might be terrible. it probably is as a whole work. but i love it. it pretty much the album i wanted to put out right now and feels like a great end for the stag hunt discography.

some songs are about other subjects. like haircut. that one is for nate frost. my childhood best friend.

thank you to my friends for hearing demos and encouraging me in small ways. Zahra, life would be a pretty shitty thing without your love and light in it. I love you forever and always friend. Dylan, thanks for always hearing me babble about music and projects and shit love you. here's hoping we get a place in philly together and fuck shit up. to the KNH family ( matt, jake, kev, derek, emma, ecram, nick, and the rest of the fam) thank you for being apart of such an important thing in my life and cheering me on at open mics. thank you matt nugent, we haven't talked in a grip. but if it wasn't for that night that i played a song for you on your guitar in your living room at your parents house and when you drove me home you told me that my song was so good it made you angry, well i probably wouldn't have made more records. thanks brian jake and matt for being in a band with me i hope that bond last some life times. i ain't done jamming with you fuckers yet. thanks evie for buying my music n supporting me. thanks to anyone who listened to one of m records or songs at some point? i wish some more people had listened or maybe i had figured out what booking shows was but hey. i am just glad i get to do this. and there's hopefully way more life left to figure more shit out and go on a tour or something.
